Meet Danielle

Hi, I'm Danielle- a mom of four, speech-language pathologist, and the founder of Point Speech Pathology & Literacy Lab.

Since 2008, I've had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan, from premature infants in the NICU with feeding and swallowing challenges to adults in their nineties navigating aphasia, dementia, and cognitive-communication changes. While I value every stage of my career, my greatest passion is helping preschool and school-aged children build the speech, language, and literacy skills they need to become confident communicators and successful readers.

Over the years, I've developed a particular interest in the relationship between speech sound disorders and reading development. That passion became deeply personal when my own son was diagnosed with dyslexia. Like many families, we discovered that obtaining the right reading intervention wasn't as straightforward as it should have been. That experience strengthened my commitment to helping children receive evidence-based literacy support- whether or not those services are available through their school.

I believe every child deserves the opportunity to become a confident reader, and I love partnering with families to identify the root cause of learning challenges and create individualized therapy that leads to meaningful, lasting progress.
